June-July Mini-Campaign: Dreadnought

Service Description

This is a three session Dreadnought campaign, running the module "Last flight of the Albatross" featured in the upcoming Dreadnought: War of The Heretic King book that will be hitting Kickstarter in August. “The Heretic King’s forces have besieged Fort Mastodon for months. The heroes have held out so far, but soldiers and supplies wither in the death and cold. The garrison expected relief from The Albatross last month, but she’s long overdue. The ship is trapped out on the frozen sea somewhere, along with food, medicine, and fresh recruits. Without them, Fort Mastodon will succumb to starvation and turn to more…dreadful means of survival. The heroes must find The Albatross, collect her cargo, and haul it overland back to Fort Mastodon before the garrison falls." We plan to run this mini-campaign a few times ahead of the Kickstarter launch, with this particular booking running from 6-10 PM every Tuesday, starting 6/17, with GM Sage. Character creation will be included as part of the first session and no prior roleplaying experience is required. Dreadnought is a rules-light game with no stats and easy-to-use mechanics that fit on a single sheet. It's designed to be about the characters and their story. The game rules are built to drive the narrative forward using an Apocalypse Engine with a dreadful twist. The publisher Liminal Artifact is a locally owned, ENNIE-nominated design studio that we're thrilled to partner with in bringing their horrible creation to life. They will be providing special promotional materials for players as well! This is a horror setting, with participation limited to players 18 or older. Each booking is for one person, but you can reserve multiple slots during checkout.
