We've talked a lot about wanting to run convention games and we'll have our first chance this January! FAN EXPO Portland was kind enough to invite us to take over part of their show floor for three days of D&D, starting with a new Leyfarer Quest: The Beasts Within. Something stirs in its forgotten resting place, awakening unpredictable magics. Gather your party, seek its wild source, and unleash your inner animal! We'll have multiple tables running The Beasts Within with three timeslots:
... followed by an afterparty with a special extra reward for the brave adventurers who stopped the wild magic plaguing New Briar's End! The Sunday of the convention we'll be switching gears to run The Nine Lives Trial, our intro to 5th Edition D&D, and fitting in as many free games as possible. All of the FAN EXPO games will require a convention badge. The afterparty is open to everyone, but will have a few secret menu items for badge holders in addition to the epilogue for The Beats Within. We're super excited for our convention debut and hope to see y'all there! |

A photo of a large turdraken miniature, a horrible turkey-drake monstrosity that's been guarding the oven Calcifer lately for some reason. It should be fine. |

Last month we released a prime beer poking candidate, The Walking Void, just before our monthly beer poking and we've managed to sneak a second in this month with Dubbel Trouble! We brewed up this Belgian Dubbel with our friends Three Creeks out in Sisters and can't way to see how it holds up to the heat. We busted out the old homebrew equipment and made Belgian candi sugar from scratch, giving bold caramel flavors alongside petit blanc hops and the quintessential Belgian finish. 8.9% ABV 15 IBU This easy drinking beer rolled with advantage & got dubbel 20's in deception. Be careful, adventurer, it's stronger than it appears! Beer poking starts at 6 PM tonight, Wednesday 11/27, and in addition to our beers we'll have Luna Lagoon, a gluten-free Tropical Stout from Mutantis Cult Brewery, and Deschutes' Non-Alcoholic Black Butte Porter back for another round as well. |

While we will be closed tomorrow (Thursday) for the holiday, we're offering a crowler discount through the weekend to keep you topped up for the festivities. Crowlers will be 3-for-2 today through Friday night and can include any of our beers except Dubbel Trouble. And yes, by popular demand we're now offering crowlers and growlers of both our Bananaweizen and Michelada! You will need to mix them yourself though, our attempts to actually can the beer cocktails continue to be met with disaster... |

Cheers! - Team TPK Oh, you read all the way to the end? Well here's a sneak peek of an awesome new Hop Dragon from Steven Suiter (who designs all our tap handles) that will be gracing our shirts and hoodless sweatshirts soon... |
